Refund policy
Due to the nature of DIY, ScottoKeebs has a blanket no-returns policy. However, exceptions in certain conditions can be made.
PCBs
Before starting a ScottoKeebs PCB build, we recommend testing continuity between all pads to ensure they're connected. If an issue comes up, contact us before soldering anything to the PCB. Once the PCB has been soldered, it is impossible to tell if the defect was caused by the factory or the builder.
Cases
The customer is expected to understand that cases produced by ScottoKeebs are 3D printed and will contain visible layer lines in addition to possibly requiring sanding or modification to get an optimal fit for the components they are using. Cases cannot be returned as they are made to order.
Damage
ScottoKeebs ships packages with insurance that covers the cost of replacement. If your package arrives damaged, contact us and we can help.
Cancellations
Once an order is placed, it is considered final and cannot be canceled. However, if you would wish to make a change to your order, contact us and if it hasn't been packed yet we can likely modify it.
Missing Items
Orders are carefully checked before shipping and although rare, mistakes can happen. If something is missing from your order, it must be reported within 7 days of delivery. We're unable to offer a refund or replacement after this window.
Fees
Our credit card processor charges us a non-refundable fee per transaction. In the event a refund is given, this fee will be deducted from the total. It is important to keep in mind that it can take a while for a refund to show on your bank statement. If it's been more than 14 days and you still haven't gotten your refund, please contact us.
