ScottoAcademy Policies
By purchasing and attending a ScottoAcademy workshop, you agree to the following:
All Sales Final
No refunds or cancellations will be issued once your spot has been reserved. If you are unable to attend, your purchase is non-refundable.
Attendance
Workshops are live and have limited seating. Failure to attend does not entitle you to a refund or reschedule.
Transfers and Rescheduling
If you are unable to attend, you may request to transfer your spot to a future workshop or another participant. We’ll do our best to accommodate requests when possible, but approval is not guaranteed.
Schedule Changes
We reserve the right to rechedule or modify the workshop if necessary. If the workshop is cancelled by us, you will be offered either a rescheduled date or a refund.
Minimum Enrollment
Workshops require a minimum of 3 participants. If this is not met, the workshop may be rescheduled or canceled. In that case, you will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to a future session.
Conduct
Participants who are disruptive, rude, or disrespectful may be removed from the workshop at our discretion. In such cases, this does not entitle you to a refund or reschedule.
Participant Responsibility
You are responsible for having the required materials, tools, internet connection, and basic familiarity needed to participate. Participants are also responsible for completing any onboarding steps required for workshop access, including joining the Discord server and providing their Discord username when requested. Failure to complete these steps does not entitle you to a refund, reschedule, or transfer.
While the workshop is designed to support beginners, individual results may vary and completion of the project is not guaranteed.
Equipment and Build Responsibility
Participants are responsible for any damage to their components or tools during the workshop. We are not responsible for damage caused during assembly or use.
Participant-Supplied Parts
Participants may use their own components, but are responsible for ensuring compatibility. We are not responsible for issues caused by incorrect or defective parts.
Recordings and Content
Workshop recordings and materials are provided exclusively to registered students for personal use and may not be copied, shared, redistributed, sold, or publicly posted without prior written permission. Unauthorized distribution of workshop content may result in removal from current and future ScottoAcademy workshops and may be subject to legal action.
Discord Access
Access to the private ScottoAcademy Discord channel is provided as a bonus for participants. While the channel is available for discussion, ongoing support, troubleshooting, or guaranteed responses are not included outside of the live workshop sessions.
Technical Issues
We are not responsible for issues related to your internet connection, hardware, or software.
